You should be able to use the same API key you used for the EJQT. Running both the EJQT and LAD should have no impact on your credentials. I would also make sure you have the proper setting for the Jira Instance URL in the General configurations section in the Query Configurations tab. Make sure it is not prefixed with http:// or https://. It should just be something like jira.example.net.
