Enhanced Jira Query Tool v1.4

Version 1.4 of the Enhanced Jira Query Tool is now available on the Agile Creatives Tools Page. The query tool now has the ability to factor in issue blocked time (when an issue has been flagged) into the work and wait time calculations. This can provide a more accurate accounting of the working time and waiting time for the issue as well as aggregate metrics like flow efficiency. There are 16 new SPECIAL fields available that use the blocked time in their calculations. The previous work and wait time SPECIAL fields still work as they previously did.

The image below shows how the various time fields would be calculated for a given issue history regardless of whether the issue had been flagged or not.

The following image shows how the new time fields would be impacted for the same scenario, but the issue being flagged for 24 hours in the Development status.

The Work time fields are all reduced by 24 hours. The Wait time fields are all increased by 24 hours. In this example there was only a single instance of the issue being flagged, but the tool will account for all instances. If an issue is flagged in a waiting status then there is no change to either working or waiting time…
