Enhanced Jira Query Tool Update v1.61

I just published version 1.61 of the Enhanced Jira Query Tool. This version addresses two bugs:

Incorrect Cycle Flow Start Date

If your cycle statuses were different from your lead statuses then the Special: Cycle Flow Start Date was being calculated incorrectly. The date was using the lead statuses rather than the cycle statuses. This had a downstream impact of making all the cycle time calculations incorrect as well. The error was cause when I did a bunch of refactoring of the query engine.

Ghost Status Transition Dates

The Special: Status Transition Dates field was sometimes producing transition dates that were not in the issue’s history. Those ghost transition dates showed up in cases where the final cycle status of an issue was leapfrogged. When this is the case the EJQT will still calculate cycle time rather than require that an issue must pass through the final cycle status. It does this by creating effective close dates. The Special: Status Transition Dates field was using the effective close dates rather than the actual close dates.
